This review will be short and sweet as I've been running on about three hours of sleep each night for what seems like a week now. I have to be up in four hours even now. PT for my injury at 7am is really crimping my style. I know, I know... don't rock out so hard at a show and tear your Achilles next time. Noted.

The show flat out rocked. I was worried not knowing much of the new album would take away from the experience. But it didn't. At all. I was up there rocking out like my ankle wasn't bruised and screaming with every moment. I just felt it. Tom Petty floated around the stage (possibly mary jane induced) and it was contagious. These guys are all vets and supreme musicians. It's rare that I lack words to describe something, but it's hard here. I loved that just about every member got a featured song and solos. You can tell they just really enjoy jamming.

Highlights:
-Benmont rocking out so hard at the piano. Serious thrashing.
-Perfect venue choice
-No GA, I believe all the other venues on the tour were all GA. As a fragile scared girl, GA shows are always a bitch to me
Cons:
-The crowd kept trying to rush the stage. Super annoying when you're in the first row of the pews because that's usually were the security confrontations occurred
-Long merch line! Why does this keep happening at the Ryman? It's a new thing.
